It's just a regular chromatic tuning app for musical instruments other than the piano. You can determine for yourself how flat your piano is with this handy internet tool: Seventh String. Piano's that are significantly out of tune and/or flat must be pitch raised before they can be tuned. Spinnette's and other uprights tend to need them after 1 1/2 years of tuning neglect. And that assessment is for a grand piano. Ninety-nine percent of the time if a piano hasn't been tuned in the span of two years it's going to be flat. We call that a pitch raising or lowering. There is a reason a tuner will ask a new client, "When was the last time it was tuned?" If your piano hasn't been tuned in "some time," "awhile," "years," "I don't remember," " when I first got it," you can rest assured your piano needs more than a tuning. I am a full-time, professional piano tuner and repairman. Now, wouldn't that be a let down or a regret? And that's what happens with 75% of first time clients in my experience and with my colleagues You, or someone for whom you had it tuned, would lose interest in it all over again. You're probably not a musician in the strict sense, you don't make a living doing it. And if should that person be a child, I am almost certain that you'd want them to have an in-tune piano so they can develop an ear for music.
